Enroll in Credit Monitoring
Once you have Identity Services and Fraud Expense coverage on your Farm Bureau Member’s Choice policy, you have the option to enroll in one year of complimentary credit monitoring. Each year when your policy renews, as long as you keep the Identity Services and Fraud Expense coverage on your policy, you may re-enroll for another year of complimentary credit monitoring. It takes just four easy steps to enroll.
Step one is to select the number of household members you would like to enroll in credit monitoring. There is a maximum of two people per household. Note: If your policy is listed as a corporation or a trust, you will not be able to enroll in credit monitoring. If you would like two household members enrolled in credit monitoring but only click one, you will not get another opportunity to add credit monitoring for a second person until your policy renewal date, so be sure you choose your household members carefully. |  |
| Step two is to select the name of the household member or members you would like to enroll in credit monitoring from the drop-down menu. |  |
| The third step is to enter your e-mail address in the “Confirm e-mail address” box and click “Submit.” |  |
You will see a "Thank You" screen notifying you that your request for credit monitoring services is being processed. In about 24 hours, you will receive an e-mail from Identity Theft 911 for each person you enrolled in credit monitoring. The e-mail contains your credit monitoring code, along with instructions on how to sign up for the service. There is one code per e-mail, so if you request two codes, you will receive two e-mails. If you are renewing your credit monitoring for another year, which you can do by clicking on the link on the left side of your My Account page, you will receive an e-mail with your new code on your policy renewal date. |  |
| Step four is to follow the steps in the e-mail to complete the enrollment process for credit monitoring. |  |
Once this is completed, you will be enrolled for one year of complimentary credit monitoring and alert services. Using this service allows you to choose different automatic notification options to monitor any changes to your personal and credit-related information.
After signing up, you will no longer see references to purchasing identity theft coverage or signing up for credit monitoring on your My Account page on FBFS.com. As long as you do not cancel your coverage, the option to sign up for another year of complimentary credit monitoring will be offered again just prior to your policy renewal date.
